Born in Irun (Spain). Began his musical studies at “L´Ecole Nationale de Musique de Bayonne” with pianist Françoise Doué, where he was awarded the Gold Medal.

Perfects his musical training at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris (Villette), under the tutelage of Master Hacques Rouvier and Pascal Devoyon. Was awarded the First Prize of Piano and the First Prize of Chamber Music unanimously. He continued his training at the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia with Dimitri Bashkirov and Galina Eguiazarov. He also has received advice from teachers teachers like Alicia de Larrocha, Leon Fleisher, François-René Duchable, Dario de la Rosa, Emil Naoumoff, etc…

His strong professional bachground is supported by five international first prizes in piano and an uninterrupted professional activity that has led to performances in four continents:

First Prize Flame (Paris), First Prize Claude Kahn (Paris), Special Prize International Competition in Santander, First Prize Saint-Nom la Breteche (Paris), First Prize Ufam Chamber Music…

He Has performed as a soloist with the Orchestra Nationale de Bayonne (France) Andres Segovia Chamber Orchestra, Orquesta Pablo Sarasota (Pamplona), Orquesta de Valencia, Chamber Orchestra of Marseille (France), Orquesta Sinfónica de Ciudad de México, Grup Instrumental de Valencia, … He has recorded for Radio france, Radio Nacional of Spain, Euskadi Irratia, Radio  Bremen, Radio Budapest…

He is founding member of B3 Boruwer Trio, the Duo Apellaniz and LQ Liber Quartet…with he plaus regularly in many international festivals. He is a solo pianist of “Grup instrumental de Valencia”  with which he has won the National Music Prize 2005-awarded by the Ministry of Culture, he collaborated with Plural Ensemble, Ensemble D´Arts.

He has taught as Professor of Piano at the Higher School of Music of the Basque Country Musikene, National School of Music in Bayonne (France) and different “Master Class” and summer…

He is currently Professor of Piano at the Conservatory of Music in Valencia.
